MOSCOW, July 23 - RIA Novosti.
Supplies of the first domestic analogue of Bravecto, Rabectra, which will be used to prevent fleas and ticks in dogs, have begun in Russia, Promomed told RIA Novosti.

"Promomed - Animal Health Company has started supplying Rabectra medicine (INN Fluralaner). A domestic drug for the prevention of fleas and ticks in dogs is already available in pet stores, pharmacies, veterinary clinics, online stores and marketplaces," the company said.

The drug is intended for dogs of all breeds and provides protection from fleas and ticks for 12 weeks after a single dose. The medicine is recommended for dogs weighing from 2 kg, aged from 8 weeks and is presented in the form of a soft chewable tablet with beef flavor in five dosages: 112.5 mg, 250 mg, 500 mg, 1,000 mg and 1,400 mg.

They explained that INN "Fluralaner" plays a key role in the prevention of diseases carried by parasites. "During registration, the drug passed all the necessary preclinical and clinical studies, confirming the bioequivalence of the original Bravecto drug," the company noted.

The company plans to continue developing a new line of drugs that are convenient for use.
