On July 31, a meeting was held in Moscow with the participation of Gennady Krasnikov, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Artyom Zdunov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Dmitry Glushko, Rector of Ogarev Moscow State University, Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group, and Kira Zaslavskaya, Director of New Products at Promomed Group.

The main topic of discussion was the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the development of the Mordovia Technopark and the interaction of project participants, as well as the realization of the scientific and educational potential of the region and the conduct of fundamental and exploratory research.

Artyom Zdunov shared plans for the implementation of a number of projects important for the development of the domestic industry, and expressed hope for support from the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"The Russian Academy of Sciences has been cooperating fruitfully with the Republic of Mordovia for a long time. Based on this experience, we plan to continue to actively cooperate, including in the development of promising areas such as biotechnology, in improving the quality of education, and in training highly qualified personnel for domestic science and industry. All this fully meets the challenges that our country faces today," said Gennady Krasnikov.

Promomed Group of Companies has been working closely with scientific organizations and the medical community for many years, and is an active participant in the Mordovia Technopark project. At the end of March this year, at the opening of API production at the Biochemik plant (part of the group of companies), Peter Bely noted that the company adheres to an active course towards the full localization of all stages of drug development. The opening of the biotechnology development center will provide an opportunity to concentrate in one place and, most importantly, localize in the Russian Federation the main stages of the creation and research of new drugs. In turn, this will contribute to the development of the activities of domestic developers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, research and educational institutions, attract highly qualified specialists, create new jobs and increase the export potential of the country.
