A "strong view" on breast cancer therapy: PROMOMED has become the center of attraction for experts at the oncological congress

PROMOMED company took an active part in the Russian Cancer Congress. Russia's largest event in the field of oncology, organized by the Russian Society of Clinical Oncology (RUSSCO) in collaboration with the N.N. Blokhin National Research Medical Center of Oncology and the Association of Oncologists of Russia, took place from December 11 to 13 in Moscow.  The Congress has traditionally brought together leading experts to share their experiences and discuss the latest developments in diagnostics and therapy.

As part of its educational mission, the company organized a satellite symposium "What do men talk about? A strong view on the treatment of breast cancer", which became one of the most notable and controversial events of the scientific program.  The event, moderated by Mikhail Yuryevich Fedyanin, MD (N.N. Blokhin National Research Medical Center of Oncology, MMCC Kommunarka), was dedicated to modern and promising methods of breast cancer (BC) therapy.

The leading experts of the country spoke at the venue organized by PROMOMED. The report "Perspective. The future of breast cancer drug therapy" was presented by the moderator of the symposiumMikhail Yuryevich Fedyanin, who outlined the trends in the development of personalized medicine and new targeted approaches.

 Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Evgeny Naumovich Imyanitov (N.N. Petrov National Research Medical Center of Oncology) in his speech "A deep look at the architecture of a breakthrough. From molecular structure to clinical efficacy" revealed the relationship between molecular mechanisms and the effectiveness of innovative drugs, focusing in detail on the advanced bispecific conjugate "antibody-drug", the production of which will be launched in Russia in the near future.

Candidate of Medical SciencesDaniil L. Stroyakovsky (Moscow State Medical University MGOB No. 62) paid attention to the practice of using modern therapy regimens in the report "A modern view on the treatment of patients with luminal breast cancer."

The symposium ended with a lively expert discussion on the near future of luminal breast cancer therapy, where special attention was paid to the role of interdisciplinary collaboration and the introduction of domestic innovations.
