A visiting meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation was held at the Promomed Group's production site, Biochemist JSC.

The First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, V.S. Osmakov, accompanied by the Head of the region, A.A. Zdunov, Director of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, D.S. Galkin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia, B.E. Emeev, Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia I.V. Gubaidullin and Rector of Ogarev Moscow State University D.E. Glushko.

The meeting participants inspected new and under construction sites, including a factory for the production of active pharmaceutical substances, which is scheduled to open in spring 2023, as well as an ultra-modern production of solid tablet forms with the possibility of vacuum transfer, commissioned in December 2022.

V.S. Osmakov got acquainted with the production process and highly appreciated the level of readiness of the enterprise. At the workshop, he spoke about existing and developing government support measures that the company can use.

The head of Mordovia, A.A. Zdunov, noted that over the past few years Biochemik has made significant progress in developing its scientific and production potential. At the same time, there are a number of promising innovative projects, for which it is important to include a scientific component and receive federal support.

"Developing production, deepening chemical synthesis processes at the enterprise, developing and launching original drugs on the market, and expanding cooperation with scientific centers is the company's strategic priority," emphasized P.A. Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group.
