Areplivir, a drug for the treatment of covid-19, has been registered in the Kyrgyz Republic

The drug Areplivir, recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the treatment of covid-19 of any severity, has been registered in Kyrgyzstan.

On August 11, 2021, the drug Areplivir (Favipiravir), manufactured by JSC Biochemik (part of the Promomed group of companies), was registered in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Areplivir has a direct antiviral effect and is recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the treatment of COVID-19 of any severity. During clinical trials that began in June 2020 and took place in five Russian medical institutions under the leadership of full members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, this drug has proven to be highly effective and safe, preventing the transition of coronavirus infection to a severe form.
