The event dedicated to the Day of the Russian Press was held at JSC Biochemik. The journalists who had fruitfully cooperated with the plant over the past year were honored. It is worth noting that no industrial enterprise has provided as many information opportunities as Biochemist. The year 2018 turned out to be truly revolutionary for the company. One of the main events was the launch of Russia's first full–cycle production of the latest antibiotics, from the molecule to the finished dosage form.
Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PROMOMED Group of Companies, attended the meeting with journalists. He thanked the media for their close cooperation and noted that Biochemist performs important social and state tasks. The President of the country, the Russian Government and the republican authorities pay attention to the company.
"We are doing important work, our main goal is the country's drug safety. Thank you for conveying to the viewer and reader the importance of our activities. We are a team of like-minded people," said Petr Bely
Congratulating the journalists, Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of Biochemik JSC, noted that over the past year, not only the production process and visits to the enterprise by representatives of the federal government, in particular the Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova, were covered, but also how and how the plant lives. There was a lot of writing about working professions and dynasties, a large number of reports and articles were published about the intense sports life of the plant, and environmental issues were actively covered. Another equally important area that has also been noticed is charity.
JSC Biochemist is one of the first industrial enterprises in the republic that decided to celebrate the work of journalists. This year is an anniversary year for Biochemik - 60 years since the founding of the plant. The management has ambitious plans and tasks, in particular, to establish the production of 17 medicines. All of them are at the final stage of registration. Much will be done in terms of modernization of the plant: in the new year, it is planned to create a small-scale pilot production site and a production laboratory, reconstruction of the production of GLS and AFS by chemical and biological synthesis will be completed, and construction of a building for the production of oncological drugs will continue. The site of soft dosage forms will be reconstructed. The plant has already supplied modern equipment for the production of ointments. Technologies for the production of telavancin, ramoplanin and oritovancin APIs, fifth–generation antibiotics, have been fully developed. The registration process is underway. The industrial production of glycopeptide-type substances is planned to be launched at the end of the first quarter of 2019, and the drugs will enter the pharmaceutical market by 2020.
The plant is dynamically developing, and a number of innovative projects are being implemented. The issue of the production of domestic and original drugs for the treatment of oncological diseases is currently being considered. In 2019, it is planned to submit about 10 medicines for registration. These will be the latest international-level drugs that have not previously been produced in our country. Of course, all these events deserve detailed media coverage, because they are a direct confirmation of the successfully implemented concept of import substitution, which means that our cooperation with the media continues!
