During the meeting, issues related to the operation of the Biochemist plant were discussed, including the production of medicines necessary for the treatment of coronavirus infection.

 

- During this difficult period of the fight against the pandemic, the plant has used all its capacities, significantly increasing the production of medicines in demand by medicine. The Biochemistry production line was urgently redesigned, the key areas were the direct–acting antiviral drug Areplivir and antibacterial drugs - the plant produces them in a very wide range (about 30 names, including Azithromycin, which is in demand in the fight against covid).Biochemist is the only manufacturer in the country that produces Azithromycin in injectable form. We are currently satisfying all health care requests," Petr Bely emphasized.

 

This response to the challenges of the time has become possible thanks to technological modernization and good staffing of the enterprise.
