Promomed has received a registration certificate for a drug containing a combination of ibuprofen and levomenthol. This combination of active ingredients has a good analgesic and anti-inflammatory potential, which makes it possible to widely use Combalgin®. ice cream for musculoskeletal pain of various origins.

The use of local forms of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) is an important component of the treatment of acute and musculoskeletal pain. The main advantage of topical products is considered to be safety due to the low level of penetration of the active substance into the blood. Therefore, they are recommended for patients with severe comorbidity (the presence of two or more diseases, syndromes or mental disorders in one patient), when the use of other forms of anti-inflammatory drugs is impossible due to the high risk of side effects.

The composition of Kombalgin® gel Ice contains two active ingredients — ibuprofen and levomenthol. The first substance is one of the most popular in the NSAID group, which is widely used in the complex treatment of joints due to its effectiveness in various types of diseases. Levomenthol, in turn, has a rapid analgesic effect, enhances microcirculation and causes a feeling of cold. In addition, it has certain antimicrobial properties.

The tandem of two substances with a wide range of actions allows to achieve maximum effectiveness of the gel for topical application of Combalgin® Ice is due to the analgesic properties of levomenthol, which increase the overall analgesic potential of the combined drug.

Kombalgin® ice is available in the form of a gel for external use with a dosage of 5%+3% (ibuprofen 50 mg and levomenthol 30 mg), which corresponds to current treatment regimens.
