Delegations of the Ministries of Health visited JSC Biochemik

On September 4, as part of the XXVIII meeting of the CIS Healthcare Cooperation Council, Biochemist JSC was visited by Dmitry Kostennikov, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, as well as delegations from the Ministries of Health of Armenia, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Tajikistan, the CIS Executive Committee, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and other representative bodies of the CIS member states..

Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PROMOMED Group, presented to the guests of the event an innovative project of the enterprise for the production of antibiotics of the latest generations: from the producer strain to the finished dosage form.

During the visit, the delegation members got acquainted with the main stages of the production of active pharmaceutical substances using the example of the antibiotic "Vancomycin", the production of which began in February 2018.

In the near future, a team of scientists and technologists will prepare for the release of three more modern substances of glycopeptide antibiotics – Telavancin, Oritovancin and Ramoplanin.

Currently, the technology of synthesis of antibacterial drugs of the latest generations is being developed on the basis of JSC Biochemik: osazolidines, lipopeptides, cephallosporins of the 5th generation. The company also specializes in the production of other modern medicines. The list is wide, and the range of different nosologies includes medicines that require separate production: beta-lactam antibiotics, hormones, and cytostatics.       The representatives of the delegation showed increased interest in the production of modern antibiotics. Petr Bely stressed that the company has a significant export potential. Medicines of JSC Biochemik are supplied to the CIS countries.  In June 2018, a trade representative office was opened in Vietnam. Sales markets with the countries of the Persian Gulf and Latin America are developing.

Biochemik JSC looks to the future with confidence and is a reliable partner of the state in the implementation of innovative projects that ensure the implementation of the strategy of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on import substitution and increasing Russia's export potential.
