Employees of "Biochemist" group "Promomed" planted a "Garden of memory"

The employees of JSC Biochemik opened a series of festive events dedicated to the professional holidays of the team: chemist's Day, pharmaceutical worker's Day and medical worker's day by participating in the international action "Garden of Memory". 20,000 pine seedlings were planted on an area of 4 hectares in the Krasnoslobodsky district forest. The action took place with the support of the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov.

At the production site of the company, JSC Biochemist, the closest attention is paid to compliance with established environmental standards and rules for the production of medicines. The company uses dust and gas cleaning equipment that minimizes emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, and implements an action plan to reduce emissions under adverse meteorological conditions.

During the production process, the waste generated must be decontaminated and transferred to specialized organizations for disposal.

The company implements a number of strategic resource-saving initiatives: collects and recycles recyclables, participates in urban clean-up and landscaping events in the region.

The international action "Garden of Memory" was first held in 2020. Its purpose is to perpetuate the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War by planting new forests.
