More than 30 employees of the Biochemist plant of the Promomed Group received well-deserved awards on Pharmaceutical Worker's Day. The solemn event was attended by Irina Spiridonova, Deputy Minister of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia, Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group, and Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of Biochemik JSC.

Honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry, Science and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia were awarded to 12 employees who made a special contribution to the development of medicines and new industries. More than 20 employees received commendations from the management of Promomed Group.

"I am pleased to note the role the company has played in ensuring that we have state—of-the-art drugs, in how many lives have been saved and millions of people have been treated," said Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group. "Tens of thousands of people who could have died did not die and continue to live because we are working."

Today, the company employs more than one and a half thousand specialists with higher and secondary specialized education to create new and quality control products. The production volumes of drugs that help in the prevention and treatment of various diseases are growing at the company's production site, the Biochemist plant.
Pharmaceutical Worker's Day is a new holiday. It was first celebrated last year after the signing of the relevant Government decree.
