Esperavir® is the best launch of 2021 in the budget sales segment according to IQVIA

Esperavir^®, developed by Promomed Group of companies, became the winner of the IQVIA RX And Consumer Health Awards, which takes place as part of the annual IQVIA Client Day event, in the category "Best range of prescription drugs in the budget Sales segment in 2021. The winners in each nomination were determined based on information from databases on preferential drug provision in the Russian Federation. One of the mandatory conditions for the selection of candidates was the absence of a drug on the market until 2021.

The company offered the first drug to combat COVID-19, Areplivir^® (favipiravir), to patients and doctors back in mid-2020. Almost immediately, the drug was included in the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the treatment of COVID-19, and by order of the Government of the Russian Federation from 10/21/2020, it was included in the list of vital and essential medicines (VED).
