In December, within the framework of the First International Infectious Diseases Forum, recognized experts from the medical community exchanged scientific knowledge and shared their experience in using Promomed group drugs Esperavir® and Skyvira® as etiotropic therapy for COVID–19.

Vladimir Chulanov also spoke about another innovative development of Skyvira® Promomed Group. The drug contains a combination of nirmatrelvir and ritonavir, the clinical advantage of which is to reduce the risk of severe course and hospitalization in comorbid patients with COVID-19. The fixation of a combination of active substances in one tablet contributes to the compliant intake of the drug, and this is especially important for older age groups.
During the discussion, the experts who participated in the session "Modern drugs for etiotropic therapy* COVID-19" agreed that COVID-19 is not going anywhere, therefore, etiotropic therapy should not be neglected. There are enough medicines in Russia with a good research base that have shown their effectiveness.
