16 students of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Physiologically Active Substances of the Ogarev Moscow State University, established on the basis of JSC Biochemik, have defended their final qualifying papers and will now be able to continue working at the plant. All of them will be employed at the production site of JSC Biochemik in Saransk. Young specialists will fill the vacant positions of chemists, technologists, chromatography engineers and shift supervisors.
Chairman of the State Attestation Commission Vasily Groshev Congratulating the guys, he noted that the final results are the knowledge base with which young specialists will come to work at the plant. The educational program was developed in 2018 to train chemical technologists to meet the needs of the company, taking into account the requirements of professional standards and the federal state educational standard. The leading specialists of JSC Biochemist were directly involved in the educational process. Two laboratories operate on the basis of the Institute of High-Tech Technologies and New Materials of the Ogarev Moscow State University with the support of Promomed Group of Companies: educational and production chemical and pharmaceutical technologies and educational and scientific synthesis of active pharmaceutical substances. All this allows young specialists to come to the enterprise theoretically and practically prepared. The guys have great potential and competencies in the field of technologies for creating pharmaceutical substances and ready-made dosage forms.
"A diploma is a great victory in life, – said the head of the department Alexander Semenov. – The skills that the students have acquired are sufficient. For those who want to become a highly qualified specialist, it is important not to stop there, study further and constantly engage in self-education.".
In the new academic year, the department has opened 25 budget places. Students who enroll in the field of Chemical Technology will receive a prestigious profession, guaranteed employment at one of the country's leading enterprises and a personalized scholarship.
Graduates say:
Victoria Makeikina: I already work at the company as a technologist in shop No. 19. At first, I wanted to develop medicines, but I chose manufacturing because it is a good opportunity to learn the processes from the inside. In the future, this experience will be useful to me in order to feel more confident. The university provides a good base. The knowledge we were given came in handy. It feels like the training was not in vain. I want to try my hand at a master's degree.
Ramil Sattarov: I would like to try myself in different directions: both in development and in analytics, that is, to be savvy everywhere. And I also care about the team, because a positive mood in the team is important.
Maria Kiushkina: Of course, theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge are different. I already work at the company, I am engaged in chromatography, and the university theory helps me. I work at the OCC, I like my job, it's very interesting. I don't set high career goals for myself yet. There are real professionals in my department, and for now I would like to follow them and gain more knowledge in order to become a real specialist.
