It is planned to open a Federal center for the Development of Biotechnologies in Mordovia. The Head of the Republic of Moldova, Artyom Zdunov, discussed the project with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Valery Falkov.

"Biotechnological drugs are among the most effective in the treatment of a wide range of diseases," said Artyom Alekseevich. — Independence from foreign raw materials in the production of such medicines is a priority. The future biotechnology development center will ensure a full production cycle and guarantee Russia's drug safety. Medical products for residents should be accessible and not depend on foreign suppliers. Specialists for the center will be trained at the Ogarev Moscow State University. The university has a specialized department. This is a large-scale task, and we are working closely with Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group, and Dmitry Glushko, Rector of Mordovian State University."
