Innovative tandem: PROMOMED and Scientific Compliance startup have agreed to cooperate in the field of new drug research

On May 30, 2025, within the framework of the Startup Village 2025 International Innovation Forum, a solemn signing of a cooperation agreement took place between the PROMOMED biopharmaceutical company and the Skolkovo Scientific Compliance project participant.

The companies agreed to cooperate in the field of scientific research, assistance in the implementation of biorelevant tests for new developments, joint scientific and practical events, preparation of joint scientific publications and other activities.

PROMOMED is one of the leaders in conducting medical research and introducing new drugs to the Russian market. In the first quarter of 2025, the Company conducted 51 medical studies and received registration certificates for six medicines. The priority areas are drugs for the treatment of obesity, diabetes, cancer, autoimmune and other diseases. To date, more than 150 drugs are at the stage of medical research and registration. Despite having its own world-class R&D center, the Company is interested in expanding cooperation with independent modern scientific centers and laboratories to conduct research confirming the effectiveness, safety and quality of new drugs.

Scientific Compliance is a team of ambitious scientists, including both experienced employees, industry specialists, and talented young scientists from leading pharmaceutical universities. The company was founded in 2023 and in a short period of time went from a "startup in the garage" to a participant in the Skolkovo project, which has contracts with 15 companies. Scientific Compliance carries out work on the construction of scientific facilities, conducts preclinical and biopharmaceutical research of medicines, and also produces domestic reagents.

The decision to collaborate between PROMMED and Scientific Compliance is an example of a strategically important partnership that creates a powerful link between an established biopharmaceutical leader and a promising innovative provider of scientific solutions. It aims to significantly increase the effectiveness of new drug development in Russia through the introduction of advanced methods and pooling of resources. The cooperation has a high potential to strengthen the positions of both companies in the market and accelerate the emergence of new domestic drugs.
