These are substances for the manufacture of medicines of almost all therapeutic groups, primarily for the treatment of socially significant diseases. The speaker shared the practice of multi-stage cooperation between an industrial partner and a scientific center. An example of such interaction is the Ogarev Mordovian State University. The result of fruitful work was the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Physiologically active Substances, open laboratories. Joint educational programs, research activities, and projects for the joint development and conduct of clinical and preclinical research are being successfully implemented.
The meeting discussed measures of state support for Russian pharmaceutical enterprises and the need to improve legislation in this area, and touched upon the export of Russian medicines. The participants of the round table also paid attention to the issues of safety, control and examination of medicines entering the market, technological sovereignty and export to open markets.
