JSC Biochemist, which is a part of PROMOMED Group of Companies, and Ogarev Mordovian State University have concluded an agreement on the implementation of professional higher education programs to increase the human resources potential of the pharmaceutical enterprise as part of the expansion of cooperation.
The signing took place within the framework of the annual meeting of the management of JSC Biochemik with students.
"Today, Biochemistry is undergoing a large-scale technical modernization, production is expanding, innovative medicines are being developed and produced, and new jobs are being created at the same time," said Dmitry Zemskov, executive director of the plant. "All our achievements are the result of the work of a professional team, of which I invite each of you to become a part."
According to Sergey Vdovin, Rector of Ogarev Moscow State University, Biochemist has been a strategic partner of the university for more than three years, and during this time joint programs on education, research, student practice, and training of plant employees have been successfully implemented at the educational institution. "In recent years, MSU and Biochemist have become closer to each other in terms of approaches and views on which specialists need to be trained for a career at the enterprise," said the rector. He also explained that the new Agreement contains additional conditions, including those related to new educational programs to meet the plant's training and professional development needs.
Ogarev Moscow State University has been a strategic partner of JSC Biochemik in the training of highly qualified personnel for many years. The plant has a joint department of professional training in the field of Chemical Technology of synthetic and biologically active substances. Students are trained for four years according to the bachelor's degree system, as well as retraining of senior students. In total, thousands of professional personnel have been trained for the plant during the cooperation with the university.
