JSC "Biochemist" of Promomed Group and Mordovian State University have agreed on further cooperation

At a meeting of the management of JSC Biochemik with Dmitry Glushko, Acting Rector of Ogarev Moscow State University, and the scientific community, issues of implementing joint projects in the development, analysis, clinical and preclinical research of innovative drugs and training personnel for the pharmaceutical industry were discussed.

Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of Biochemist JSC, noted the importance of productive collaboration with Mordovian State University. "We want to expand our cooperation," the speaker emphasized. – The portfolio of manufactured drugs is constantly increasing: an oncological line is being released, and an antiviral program is developing. We are conducting research with the university on the development of new types of antibiotics. The development of a biotechnological cluster is important for us. This topic is very relevant now, because it is biotechnology combined with classical chemistry that is a step into the future."

Ogarev Moscow State University has a powerful scientific base for organizing all types of research, from the synthesis of molecules to conducting full-scale clinical trials of finished medicines. Biochemist is interested in cooperation with university scientists, exchange of experience and localization at the university of scientific research works that are necessary for the enterprise, organization of short-term training programs and advisory support for employees of the enterprise.

For many years, Promomed Group has been a strategic partner of the university in training professional personnel for the pharmaceutical industry, investing in the development of the scientific and technical base and training students who may become employees of the Biochemist plant in the future.
