Magomedsalam Magomedov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, visited the Promomed Group's production site, the Biochemist plant

On August 17, Biochemist JSC, Promomed Group's production site, was visited by Magomedsalam Magomedov, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The delegation also included Batyr Emeev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia, and Igor Gubaidullin, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Mordovia. Alexander Efremov, CEO of PROMOMED DM, Alexey Klyuchnikov, Director of Production at Biochemik JSC, and Andrey Rykov, Director of Technical Development and Project Manager, demonstrated one of the most modern tablet and capsule production facilities in Europe.

During the visit, Magomedsalam Magomedov got acquainted with the site of tablets and capsules opened at the end of 2022. Vacuum transfer technologies are used at the site, the production capacity is up to a billion tablets per year. Antiviral, antitumor, endocrinological, and neurological drugs are produced here. In March 2023, with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation, the plant launched the production of active pharmaceutical substances, which will allow the production of medicines in a full cycle and is an important step in ensuring the country's drug safety.

The meeting participants discussed the Company's development strategy, plans for further modernization of the plant and the development of its own original drugs. They noted that in order to successfully solve the large-scale task of import substitution of medicines, production must have the basis for sustainable long-term development, enjoy the political will and financial support of the State. In Mordovia, they are constantly working to create such conditions: the company is supported by regional authorities, and cooperation with regional higher and secondary specialized educational institutions has been established. Partnership with a large scientific and educational center, N.P. Ogarev Mordovian State University creates prerequisites for the development of a technological base in the form of a cell culture bank to ensure modern pharmaceutical biotechnological production and the development of its own original drugs. Answering the question, Alexander Efremov confirmed Promomed's readiness to provide the country with the most important medicines and to launch our products on the far-abroad markets of Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
