Artyom Zdunov, the head of the Republic of Mordovia, presented the achievements of the region's industry to Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin, among which the developments of the Biochemist plant occupy a special place. Marat Khusnullin visited the stand of Mordovia at the international forum "Russia – the Islamic World: Kazanforum".

Pharmaceutical industry enterprises serve as a locomotive for the development of the republic's industrial potential. The key place in this block is occupied by the Biochemist plant of PROMOMED Company. The plant is one of the largest full-cycle pharmaceutical production facilities, it makes a great contribution to ensuring drug independence across the country.
The plant develops and manufactures drugs in a full cycle, "from the molecule to the finished dosage form." This strategy ensures high quality and independence from foreign suppliers of substances. "Today, this is one of the main areas of industry in our republic — we produce many different medicines," said Artyom Zdunov, focusing the Deputy Prime Minister's attention on the strategic importance of the enterprise.
The blockbuster drug Tirzetta® produced by the Biochemist plant was also presented at the stand of the region. PROMOMED in Saransk was the first company in Russia to release a drug based on tirzepatide for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity. To date, this is the only tyrzepatide in Russia, which is available in the form of disposable auto-injectors and without preservatives. This format reduces the risk of errors when choosing a dose, increases the convenience of use, and improves the safety of therapy.
After the inspection of the stand, a working meeting was held between Artyom Zdunov and Marat Khusnullin, during which further prospects for the development of the region were discussed.
