As part of his working trip to the Republic of Mordovia, Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, visited the production complex of JSC Biochemik (part of PROMOMED Group of Companies). The head of the department got acquainted with the full cycle of development and production of modern medicines.

The visit began with an inspection of the Workshop for the production of active pharmaceutical substances. Maxim Reshetnikov studied the Company's research base, which is the core of creating innovative molecules. Alexander Efremov, CEO of PROMOMED, spoke about the process of developing drugs for the treatment of socially significant diseases, including cancer, diabetes, HIV and orphan diseases. In addition, the meeting touched upon the use of modern technologies that accelerate the introduction of new drugs to the market, as well as issues related to improving labor productivity.

In Mordovia, JSC Biochemist is an active participant in the project. The company has been implementing methods to increase labor productivity since 2018. During this period, the factory has developed a culture of high productivity and continuous improvement of the production system. As a result of scaling up the experience gained in 2025, the company increased production per employee by 46%, and ampoule production by 27%.

During the current visit, special attention was paid to the Workshop for the production of finished medicines in pre-filled syringes and ampoules. These lines are an important part of the plant's production capacity, which is capable of producing more than 170 million ampoules per year. Representatives of the Company demonstrated to the participants of the delegation led by the Minister the process of high-precision sterile sealing of ampoules and quality control of medicines, many of which are included in the list of vital and essential medicines (VED).

At the end of the meeting, Alexander Efremov presented Maxim Reshetnikov with plans for further expansion of production capacities and a portfolio of high—tech drugs, emphasizing the Company's commitment to the principles of a full cycle: "from Idea to Molecule, from Molecule to Patient."

The visit of the Head of the Ministry of Economic Development confirmed the importance of the Biochemist enterprise as one of the flagships of the domestic pharmaceutical industry.
