Promomed Company has received a registration certificate for a drug that restores the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT), which is based on one of the most effective osmotic laxatives - sodium citrate. The drug is available in a convenient microclyster format, which allows the use of Modelax-N® for the treatment of all groups without age restrictions.

The effectiveness of the Promomed Group laxative is due to the complex work of substances (sodium citrate, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate and sorbitol), which promotes intestinal release in a very short period of time (usually from 5 to 15 minutes). An important feature of the drug is that it acts directly on the source of the problem, without affecting the organs of the digestive system located above. The components of Modelax-H are not absorbed by the body, are not distributed through it and are not absorbed, but are excreted.

The drug is a container with a flexible applicator tip and rounded edges, which allows you to safely inject a laxative.

The appearance of a gastrointestinal product with such a high safety profile in the Promomed Group product portfolio is an important step in the development of this area. This pathology has noticeably "rejuvenated", there are now quite a few children among the patients, so one of the main tasks for the company was to start production of a drug that can be recommended and prescribed almost without restriction to all patients, including children and pregnant and lactating women.

"Modelax-N is designed to safely solve an extremely urgent and delicate problem in gastroenterology. A specially developed release form for the mild and physiological use of Modelax-N, the absence of contraindications for any age and an affordable price determine the importance of the brand for the company's portfolio," said Kira Zaslavskaya, Director of New Products at Promomed Group.

Currently, Modelax-N® is available in the form of a rectal solution in the form of microclysms in a dosage of 5 ml, which corresponds to current treatment regimens.
