"The opening of production is preceded by a lot of work on the development of medicines. We often have to contact foreign laboratories to conduct some kind of analysis or research. We want to fully ensure our independence. We are currently working with the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ministry of Health to establish a federal center in our republic. We have a department that trains specialists. I will report to you in writing about the first results and plans," Zdunov said, addressing the head of state.

The head of the republic explained to reporters that he had announced "plans to create a large federal center that will allow developing medicines without contacting foreign partners." "We are doing this together with science, with the Mordovian State University, where there is a specialized department. This is very important for us – we are creating a lot of jobs," said Zdunov.
