PROMOMED makes modern antipruritic antiviral therapy more accessible: The Company reduces prices for Esperavir® and introduces a new consumer package of 10 capsules to the market — a compact solution for initial therapy and flexible individualization of the course as prescribed by a doctor. New recommended prices have been set: a pack of 10 capsules — 1,350 rubles, 20 capsules — 2,500 rubles.

In December 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation approved Esperavir® for use in the treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), which ensured the growth and predictability of demand for the drug, and allowed the Company to switch to large-scale production, optimize logistics and reduce unit cost.

Esperavir® contains the active substance molnupiravir, which suppresses the reproduction of the virus by disrupting the work of the enzyme RNA polymerase, which creates new viral particles. This leads to rapid elimination of the pathogen from the body, accelerated recovery and reduced risks of complications. Already on the third day of therapy, virus elimination was recorded in 65% of patients, in addition, patients noted significant relief of symptoms of the disease, such as chills, headache, sore throat, and a decrease in body temperature below 37.5 ° C without the use of antipyretics. While taking Esperavir® 6.5 times[1] the frequency of complications is reduced.

Influenza and acute respiratory viral infections remain one of the most common causes of temporary disability and medical treatment. According to estimates by the World Health Organization, up to 1 billion cases of influenza are registered annually in the world, 3-5 million of them are severe, and the number of respiratory deaths associated with it reaches hundreds of thousands per year[2]. In Russia, tens of millions of cases of acute respiratory viral infections are recorded annually (up to 90% of the total infectious morbidity[3]). The rapid increase in the incidence of colds during the cold season regularly puts a serious strain on the healthcare system and the economy.

All this shows how important it is for doctors and patients to have access to effective and scientifically proven treatments for influenza and acute respiratory viral infections[4].
