The head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, met with the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Gennady Krasnikov, in Moscow on July 31. The meeting was attended by Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Academician Vladislav Panchenko, Rector of Ogarev Moscow State University Dmitry Glushko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group Peter Bely.

Issues of cooperation were discussed, including the participation of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the development of the Mordovian Technopark,
in realizing the scientific and educational potential of the region, as well as conducting fundamental and exploratory research.

"We plan to implement a number of projects that are important for the development of the domestic industry," said Artyom Zdunov. "We really hope that the Russian Academy of Sciences will support us in these matters."

"The Russian Academy of Sciences has been cooperating fruitfully with the Republic of Mordovia for a long time.
