Promomed has introduced a subscription program for patients receiving course medications for the first time in Russia, the company's press service reports.

Patients will be able to purchase drugs under the program with significant discounts.

At the first stage, the subscription program included 4 drugs: to combat diabetes and weight loss.

As Alexander Yefremov, CEO of Promomed PJSC, noted, the level of public health and the increase in life expectancy largely depend on the availability of modern world-class drugs.

"The effectiveness of treatment is directly related to the patient's compliance with the prescribed therapy. The subscription program will allow patients to save up to 40% of the cost of the drug when undergoing course treatment," he said.

Also, according to Efremov, the Promomed initiative will allow patients to take medications without interruptions in treatment.

"This will increase the effectiveness of therapy for such complex and dangerous diseases as diabetes and obesity," he added.
