Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PROMOMED Group of Companies, and Vladimir Volkov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia, discussed the launch of a new production facility dedicated to the 60th anniversary of JSC Biochemistry

The meeting discussed issues of further development of the Biochemist JSC enterprise, the upcoming commissioning of new production facilities, and the production of original medicines, including those that have no analogues in the world.

On November 5 of this year, the Biochemist plant is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary. According to Petr Bely, the main event by this date will be the opening of a new production facility.

"These are five new workshops, including a modern laboratory, the production of finished medicines using new technology, as well as the production of pharmaceutical substances," he explained.

Currently, 150 medicines from various pharmaceutical groups are at various stages of development and development, including the latest fifth–generation antibiotics. This year, 27 registration certificates for new drugs have already been received. Among them is the latest drug, which has no analogues in the world, shown to people with metabolic disorders.

"This is an original, patented medicinal product, the unique effective composition of which has passed all clinical trials and is registered. The first batch of the drug rolled off the Biochemist assembly line in July," Petr Bely shared with the Head of the republic.

It is planned to produce at least 11 types of finished medicines and three types of active pharmaceutical substances on the basis of the new production facilities. Most of the drugs planned for production are import-substituting.

The head of the republic, Vladimir Volkov, noted that the task of import substitution was set by the President of the country, and it must be fulfilled.

The results of the company's work in the first half of the year were discussed. There was an increase in production by almost 11% compared to the corresponding period last year, an increase in sales profits by almost 5%, as well as an increase in labor productivity by 25.7%.

Vladimir Volkov stressed the need for more dynamic wage growth at the enterprise.

 "Now young specialists have come to the plant, the first graduates of the professional training program organized on the basis of Biochemistry in cooperation with the Ogarev Moscow State University. It is necessary that these young people receive salaries corresponding to their highly qualified qualifications. It is important to achieve a more tangible increase in this indicator for the company as a whole," said the Head of the Republic.

Vladimir Sushkov, Chairman of the Government of Mordovia, took part in the working meeting.
