Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PROMOMED Group, presented the Slender Russia social project to Veronika Skvortsova, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, as part of the XII All-Russian Forum "National Health - the Basis of Russia's Prosperity", which is taking place in Moscow from May 30 to June 1. The forum, dedicated to the formation of a healthy lifestyle and increasing the life expectancy of Russians, brought together representatives of 21 regions of Russia, ministries, departments and private companies. At the opening, Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova called the forum "The Health of the Nation - the basis of Russia's prosperity" "a landmark event that is in the trend of the country's state policy aimed at saving people and building human potential."

PROMOMED Group LLC has been actively working for a long time as part of the prevention of a healthy lifestyle, one of the aspects of which is the fight against overweight, implemented by the Slender Russia social project. When visiting the stand of PROMOMED Group LLC, Veronika Igorevna got acquainted with the monitoring data on the safety and effectiveness of obesity therapy in real clinical practice, combining the experience of almost 5,000 doctors and 140,000 patients. Obesity is recognized as a non-communicable epidemic of the 21st century, reducing human life expectancy by 5-15 years, leading to infertility, type 2 diabetes, heart attacks, and cancer.  The research programs conducted by PROMOMED Group LLC for many years, as well as the weight loss drugs produced by the company, are designed to combat this epidemic.

Following the presentation, Peter Bely presented Veronika Skvortsova with a commemorative booklet containing information materials about another global project of PROMOMED Group LLC, the industrial production of a full cycle of new-generation antibiotics at the Biochemist plant in Saransk, which was personally launched by the Minister of Health on February 20, 2018. The release of the latest antibiotics makes a huge contribution to the country's drug safety.
