PROMOMED and Vinafarm signed a memorandum of understanding on pharmaceutical cooperation in Vietnam

The ceremony was attended by the Ministers of Health of Vietnam and the Russian Federation, which underlines the bilateral commitment to the development of the healthcare system.

Hanoi, September 12, 2025 — As part of the working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation to Vietnam, the leading Russian biopharmaceutical company PJSC PROMOMED and the Vietnamese Pharmaceutical Corporation (Vinafarm) signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing strategic cooperation in the field of drug production.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed during an official ceremony held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi. The ceremony was attended byMikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, andThe Minister of Health of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ms. Dao Hong Lan, as well as other senior government officials and distinguished guests.

The agreement defines the terms of cooperation in such areas as the commercialization and distribution of high-quality medicines, the development of manufacturing technologies, technology transfer for the production of biological and biosimilar medicines, research and synthesis of new molecules, as well as increasing patient access to innovative treatment methods in Vietnam.

As stated byPeter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC PROMOMED:

The Memorandum of Understanding reflects the shared commitment of both sides to developing bilateral cooperation and improving the quality of Vietnam's public health system, as well as strengthening and deepening the long-term partnership between representatives of the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam and Russia.
