PROMOMED Company became a partner of the annual International Congress of the Russian Society of Oncourologists (ROOU), which was held on October 9 and 10 in Moscow. Special attention at the congress was paid to two significant oncourological diseases: prostate cancer, which is the most common among men, and kidney cancer, which is often detected in young and able-bodied patients.

At a plenary session dedicated to prostate cancer, Boris Alekseev, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, MD, Professor, Deputy Director General of the Russian Ministry of Health's Scientific Research Center for Radiology, presented the results of the TITAN study, emphasizing the benefits of apalutamide for patients with metastatic prostate cancer.

The reports presented in the framework of the PROMOMED lecture hall aroused considerable interest. Among the speakers who shared advanced scientific data and clinical experience were:

• Alexey Kalpinsky, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Member of the Board of the ROOU, Head of the Surgical Department of the P. A. Herzen Moscow Institute of Medical Sciences, a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMITS of Radiology" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, who presented a report on the use of cabozantinib in metastatic kidney cancer.
• Irina Shevchuk, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Leading Researcher at the Lopatkin Research Institute of Urology and Interventional Radiology, Associate Professor at the Department of Oncology, Rosbiotech, who spoke about the early appointment of apalutamide for metastatic and non-metastatic prostate cancer.
• Yulia Anzhiganova, oncologist, member of the Board of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Head of the Urogynecological Department of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Oncological Dispensary named after A. I. Kryzhanovsky, who cited a clinical case of intensification of therapy for a patient with metastatic prostate cancer.
