Employees of JSC Biochemist (part of Promomed Group of Companies) will become candidates for the degree of Candidate of Sciences in three scientific specialties: analytical chemistry, organic chemistry and clinical pharmacology. This was agreed during the working meeting by Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of Biochemist JSC, Kira Zaslavskaya, Director of New Products at Promomed Group, Dmitry Glushko, Rector of Ogarev Moscow State University, and university scientists.

Supporting young researchers in the field of chemistry and biotechnology is one of the company's important tasks. Promomed encourages employees to study industry best practices and provides opportunities for development and career growth. The first 12 Biochemist employees will be enrolled in graduate school in the fall and will begin preparing materials for their dissertations.
"The postgraduate program with the support of the company is a unique opportunity for our employees to realize their ideas, but it is also a lot of additional work," said Kira Zaslavskaya. — We tried to select research topics so that they could be really implemented and tested with the support of the company, including directly at the workplace. We hope that this will result in a great personal development of our employees, as well as in our innovative technologies and medicines."

The industrial postgraduate program, based on the partnership between the university and the enterprise, will allow obtaining fundamental and significant scientific results. Research activities in the field of pharmaceutical production will include development processes, preclinical and clinical research, as well as quality control of medicines.
"Our postgraduate work should meet the scientific novelty," Dmitry Zemskov believes. — This novelty should go into practice. We base all our joint activities on the fact that science should have practical applications and benefit the company in the production of new types of products."
