Promomed Group of Companies has become a partner of one of the largest profile events – VIII The St. Petersburg HIV Forum with international participation, which took place on October 5-6. The forum brought together representatives of the professional community, patient associations, as well as public organizations. The main topics for discussion at the forum were modern aspects of the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of HIV infection and chronic viral hepatitis.
The event was organized with the support of the Health Committee of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg GBUZ "Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS and Infectious Diseases", St. Petersburg The Botkin Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital, the Smorodintsev Scientific Research Institute of Influenza of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, as well as the Regional Public Organization AIDS, Statistics, Health. The largest representatives of the medical community and relevant organizations took part in it.
The business program discussed such important and pressing issues as the epidemiology of virological diseases, risk factors and new approaches to the treatment of HIV and chronic viral hepatitis in various categories of patients, including children, adolescents and women. In addition, special attention was paid at the forum to modern laboratory diagnostics and the latest drugs used today for the treatment of HIV infection and chronic viral hepatitis.
Promomed Group of companies presented a stand with materials on antiviral drugs, told the participants and guests of the forum about its own portfolio of medicines for antiviral therapy.
