Areplivir, whose high effectiveness in the treatment of COVID-19 has been proven in practice, will appear in pharmacies in the Russian regions in the coming days. The drug can also be ordered from online pharmacies.

Areplivir is officially recognized as one of the best drugs capable of stopping coronavirus infection, and has been included in the guidelines of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for the treatment of COVID-19. With timely administration of the drug, patients feel a radical improvement in their condition within the first 24 hours.

Outpatient treatment with Areplivir will allow you to recover from coronavirus faster and with minimal health consequences. This will undoubtedly reduce the burden on hospitals.

"We released Areplivir in record time – in three months," says Andrey Mladentsev, Chief Executive Officer of PROMOMED Group. - During this time, our specialists have developed the drug, created the production technology, and conducted the necessary preclinical and clinical studies. The operational creation of Areplivir became possible due to the effective organization of interaction between scientific and technical fields of activity at our enterprise. This is the achievement of the entire team of Promomed and Biochemica, who worked seven days a week, almost around the clock. However, without the support of the state and the operational work of the Ministry of Health, Roszdravnadzor and other executive authorities, this breakthrough would have been unrealistic. The coronavirus epidemic has become a disaster that has brought everyone together – the pharmaceutical industry, doctors, and government officials. We acted as during the war - quickly, smoothly and accurately. Every minute was precious, because hundreds, thousands, millions of human lives were at stake.

Recall that the drug "Areplivir" is based on the active substance favipiravir, which blocks the reproduction of the virus in the human cell and thereby prevents the spread of infection in the body. According to Andrey Mladentsev, the company's specialists who developed Areplivir have included a unique selection of auxiliary components in its composition, which ensures faster delivery of the active substance to cells and better assimilation. The shelf life of Areplivir is two years. The drug has a low toxic load. 80 percent of people recover on monotherapy, without concomitant medications. No cases of the disease progressing to a more severe phase have been reported.

Clinical trials of Areplivir, which involved patients with confirmed coronavirus infection of moderate severity, were conducted in medical institutions in Mordovia, Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as the Leningrad, Smolensk, and Ryazan regions. The drug has demonstrated high efficacy – more than 90 percent. In 70 percent of patients taking this antiviral drug, the fracture occurred during the first day of the disease, and four days later the virus disappeared from the body. On the tenth day, the CRC test was negative in one hundred percent of the subjects.

"We will continue to manage the life cycle of Areplivir," said Andrey Mladentsev. - The virus is changing, and drug therapy should change accordingly. We continue our work on the next generations and modifications of the drug.
