Promomed Group presented the Pharma is Love program for the 90th anniversary of Ogarev Mordovian State University

Promomed Group of Companies, as a long-time partner of Ogarev Moscow State University, has prepared the Pharma is Love program for the University's 90th anniversary. Promomed's events include a series of lectures from leading experts in the medical community, the opening of the Biochemik educational and scientific laboratory for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical substances (part of the Promomed group), and the work of the Biochemik Plant student center for future employees and trainees.

On September 30, the program will be opened by a Public Talk of two speakers who worked together to create an effective means of basic covid-19 therapy. Larisa Balykova, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, MD, Professor, Director of the Medical Institute, Head of the Department of Pediatrics of the Ogarev Mordovian State University and Peter Bely, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Promomed Group, head of the team of researchers, developers and manufacturers of the drug Areplivir, will recall the most striking moments of the struggle with the pandemic.

Pyotr Bely will continue the lecture day with a personal appeal to students – future pharmacists and doctors.

The special speaker of the day, Yuri Zhernov, MD, Associate Professor at the Federal State Budgetary Institution "State Scientific Center "Institute of Immunology" of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, will hold an open lecture for students on "The main trends and patterns of the emergence of new and socially significant diseases." On the same day, the Biochemist Educational and Scientific Laboratory for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical substances will be opened. The laboratory classroom will house modern equipment, with which students will have the opportunity to conduct scientific research in the field of developing technologies for creating pharmaceutical substances and, thus, in practice, master all stages of drug production from the synthesis of the active substance to the finished product.

The student center "Pharma is love", the representative office of JSC Biochemist, will receive guests from September 30 to October 04. Students will have access to face-to-face consultations, meetings with plant employees, various activities, contests and gifts.

Promomed Group has been a strategic partner of Ogarev Moscow State University for more than three years. During this time, joint programs on education, research activities, students' industrial practice and training of the plant's employees on the basis of the educational institution were implemented.
