Promomed Group, a leading innovative biopharmaceutical company, won the nomination "For a High-tech Project" at the All-Russian competition of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) "Business Flagships: Dynamics, Responsibility, Sustainability". The award was presented to the company by Alexander Shokhin, the head of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

In the nomination "High-tech project", the group presented the innovative biotechnological drug Radamine® Viro, created by Promomed using its own RNA platform. Currently, the biotechnological platform is being developed in the company's pharmaceutical clusters in Saransk and Moscow.

Radamine® Viro is intended for the treatment and prevention of infectious and inflammatory diseases in adults and children. The drug is a powerful inducer of three types of interferons, due to which it has high activity against viruses and bacteria, and also has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.

"We are grateful to the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs for the prestigious award and appreciation of our team's work. When developing products, Promomed is guided by principles that combine innovation and high technology. The drug Radamine® Viro is one of the most striking examples of this approach. We are confident that meeting the needs of the country's population for advanced biopharmaceuticals of the new generation is an important function of a socially oriented pharmaceutical manufacturer and forms the country's drug independence," commented Kira Zaslavskaya, Director of New Products at Promomed Group.

The Business Flagships competition is held annually and brings together companies from all sectors of the economy. The main goal of the competition is to promote sustainable business development that meets Russia's long—term interests, as well as to identify dynamically developing companies.
