PROMOMED biopharmaceutical Company has gathered leading analysts, journalists and representatives of the investment community at the annual Investor Day in Moscow.
CEO Alexander Yefremov noted that in 2025 PROMOMED became the leader in revenue growth among all issuers of the Moscow Stock Exchange. The market of drugs for the treatment of obesity remained the driver of growth last year. Since the company's IPO, it has doubled to 46 billion rubles. The leadership in this segment is confidently held by Tirzetta®, the best–selling and most successful new product in Russia.
"We are in dire need of new molecules. Innovation rules the market and is a driver of sales growth. There are not many manufacturers in Russia who are ready to produce full-cycle drugs. And there are no companies with a research center of our level at all. Our R&D potential allows us to be the first among competitors in relevant markets. And in the very near future, we are preparing to launch drugs that have no analogues in Russia."
The data of the PROMMED experts was also confirmed by the analysts of the DSM Group. Sergey Shkuliak stressed that the pharmaceutical market has doubled in the last 10 years. Among the features, the expert noted the growth in tablets and ampoules. Consumers are opting for larger packages. Generics occupy a large part of the market in both packages and tablets.
The most dynamic growth is observed in the group of GLP-1 drugs. In 2025, the growth was 177%.
Timofey Solovyov, Director of Economics and Finance at PROMMED, presented an updated revenue and profitability forecast for the next few years, confirming the high growth rates of operational efficiency.
The conference participants highly appreciated the event, noting the high degree of openness and informative content of the materials presented. The next Investor Day is scheduled to be held next year.
