The effectiveness of molnupiravir against COVID-19 is recognized worldwide. The Biochemist plant (part of Promomed Group of Companies) will begin supplying the drug to Russian pharmacies in the near future. At the same time, the price of the drug is significantly lower than the American equivalent, which was previously purchased by the Ministry of Health under strict quotas for Russia.

The production of domestic medicines instead of foreign analogues will help Russian doctors provide faster and better care to COVID-19 patients.
