Russian-Bahraini partnership to enter the Middle East markets: PROMOMED, Ogarev Moscow State University and Riyadh signed a memorandum for SPIEF 2025

The parties agreed to develop pharmaceutical production, establish an R&D Hub, train scientific and production personnel, and supply vital drugs to the Riyadh Group of Companies' distribution network, which covers a number of countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Within the framework of XXVIII At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the innovative biopharmaceutical company PROMOMED, the Ogarev Mordovian State University and the Riyadh Group of Companies (Kingdom of Bahrain) signed a trilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU).



The main directions of the planned cooperation:

1. Creation of an R&D Hub for research and development of high-tech medicines.
2. Training of highly qualified personnel for the pharmaceutical industry of the region.
3. Launch of local production of innovative drugs based on modern Russian technologies.
4. Development of an online platform for cross-border orders of medicines and verification of their authenticity.
