Sorafenib is a new drug in Promomed Group's cancer portfolio

Sorafenib-Promomed became the fifth drug in the company's antitumor portfolio, which previously included drugs for the treatment of widespread cancers such as myeloma, non-small cell lung cancer and prostate cancer.


Sorafenib belongs to targeted drugs, it is a low-molecular-weight multikinase inhibitor. This drug is used for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma, liver cell carcinoma, as well as differentiated thyroid cancer (resistant to radioactive iodine).

The effectiveness of Sorafenib has been clinically proven. The drug's action is aimed at blocking certain signals from tumor cells, which prevents their further growth, and also prevents the growth of blood vessels that deliver oxygen to the tumor.

The development and production of drugs for the treatment of oncological diseases is an important strategic direction of the Promomed Group of companies, focused on solving significant medical problems, saving and significantly improving the quality of life of patients.

Sorafenib-Promomed will be available in the form of tablets with a dosage of 200 mg, which corresponds to standard application schemes.

Like most medicines produced by Promomed Group, this drug is included in the list of VED.
