Stocks of COVID-19 drug will be created for doctors in Russian regions.

PROMOMED Group of Companies announces the launch of the Areplivir - Doctors All-Russian program, which provides for the creation of stocks of this drug in regional medical centers for the free treatment of doctors working in the "red zone".

Currently, PROMOMED, together with the regional Ministries of Health, is determining the list of regions for the pilot launch of the program (#areplivir saves lives) and is forming the first batches of drugs for shipment.

Areplivir is the latest direct—acting drug for the treatment of coronavirus infection, and is included in the guidelines of the Russian Ministry of Health for the treatment of COVID-19. By Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2625-r, the list of vital and essential medicines has been included since October 21, 2020.

In the course of clinical trials, the drug has shown high efficacy and safety, preventing the disease from developing into a severe form. After the drug was included in the list of vital and important medicines (VED) in coordination with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation, the fixed selling price made Areplivir one of the most affordable medicines against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
