PROMOMED — Animal Health, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical—quality veterinary drugs, has become the general partner of the Summer Tailfest, a large-scale festival for dog owners and anyone interested in responsible treatment of pets. The event took place on August 29 in Moscow's Perovsky Park and brought together leaders of the pet industry, representatives of the veterinary and canine communities, major charitable foundations, as well as thousands of active pet owners.

The key theme of PROMOMED — Animal Health's participation in the festival was the protection of dogs from external parasites such as ticks and fleas. The company introduced the Rabectra® brand, the first domestic drug with the active ingredient fluralaner in the form of chewable tablets, produced under an official license for the use of patented inventions.[1] It helps protect dogs from a wide range of parasites, including ixodes ticks and fleas. This format is especially convenient for owners, since the tablet is applied orally, and one dose provides long-term protection for 12 weeks.

The issue of protection from ectoparasites is especially important during the season of active walks, trips outside the city and outdoor recreation, as they can pose a serious threat to the pet's health. In the Rabectra® brand zone, guests could learn more about modern approaches to prevention, get advice from specialized specialists, and understand why regular protection should be part of basic dog care. Inna Marcinkovskaya, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Medical Adviser to PROMOMED — Animal Health, spoke as an expert with a lecture on how to make walking with a dog safer, why ticks and fleas are dangerous for pets and timely prevention helps to reduce the risks to the animal's health.
