Alexander Vishnevsky, Director of Development at ARTSELLENS Biotechnology Company, one of the key investors of which is PROMOMED, a leading innovative biopharmaceutical company, participated in the PROBIOTECH conference held at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.

At the event, which brought together representatives of key pharmaceutical companies, science and business, experts discussed the latest achievements and trends in biotechnology, as well as innovations in the pharmaceutical industry. During the conference, Alexander Vishnevsky made a presentation on "Oncoimmunology and vaccines" and spoke about the company's technological approaches to the development of cancer vaccines.
"Today, cancer vaccines can be made using cellular technologies, recombinant protein production technologies, as well as DNA and RNA molecules," said Alexander. "At the same time, new approaches, including the use of artificial intelligence and bioinformatics methods, allow us to create personalized vaccines, which can significantly enhance the effect of treatment." The speaker also stressed that the effect of vaccines can be not only preventive, but also therapeutic, meaning they will also be used in cases where the disease is already developing.
"We strive to ensure that in the near future, next–generation cancer drugs, such as monoclonal antibody drug conjugates and cancer vaccines, will become as affordable as the flu vaccine," Alexander Vishnevsky said in the final part of his speech.
Currently, the biotech company ARTSELLENS is working on the creation of research and

As part of the second stage, a biotechnological plant will be launched at the Alabushevo site by the end of 2028. The main activity of the ARTSELLENS company is the full cycle of production of biosimilars and innovative biotechnological drugs for the treatment of oncological, autoimmune and other socially significant diseases.
