Vismodegib-Promomed will cost less than its foreign predecessor. This cost will increase the availability of the medicine to the citizens of the country after the expiration of the patent for the original drug and the release of the domestic product to the market. Patients will be provided with this drug at the expense of budgetary funds within the framework of the program of state guarantees of free medical care.

For many years, surgical removal and radiation therapy have been the main methods of treating basal cell carcinoma. The use of vismodegib prevents the uncontrolled division and spread of cancer cells, which makes it possible to slow down or stop the spread of a malignant tumor. For patients, this means minimizing surgical intervention, reducing potential health risks, and improving their quality of life.

Promomed Group has developed a full-cycle technology for the production of Vismodegib-Promomed from the substance to the finished dosage form. The company's production facilities allow us to meet the full needs of Russian patients.
