The first graduates of the basic department of JSC Biochemist (part of Promomed Group) received diplomas

In July, the company's team will be strengthened by young chemical technologists trained jointly with Ogarev Moscow State University at the department created with the support of Promomed Group of Companies. 12 bachelors in the field of Chemical Technology received higher education diplomas, four of them with honors. All of them are employed by the company.

The educational program was developed to train chemical technologists to meet the needs of the enterprise, taking into account the requirements of professional standards and the federal state educational standard. The leading specialists of JSC Biochemist were directly involved in the educational process. Two laboratories were created on the basis of the Institute of Physics and Chemistry with the support of Promomed Group of Companies: educational and production chemical and pharmaceutical technologies and educational and scientific synthesis of active pharmaceutical substances. Equipped with modern equipment, the laboratories allowed students to conduct practical exercises and scientific research, master the synthesis of pharmaceutical substances, research methods for complex organic compounds, and learn how to create new medicines. During the training, the company paid students an additional scholarship.

"The basic department prepared students for real production processes even before they started working at the company," Dmitry Zemskov, Executive Director of Biochemist JSC, is convinced. – Young specialists who have great potential and competencies in the field of technologies for creating pharmaceutical substances and ready-made dosage forms will come to the plant. This knowledge will be useful to them in their work at the new production site, the workshop for the production of active pharmaceutical substances. Most of the graduates will take part in its opening."

Promomed will continue to invest in employees. This year, a master's degree in the field of Design, development and production of medicines, as well as postgraduate studies have been organized.

The Basic Department of Chemistry and Technology of Physiologically Active Substances was established in 2018. The main task is the targeted training of specialists for the needs of the enterprise. Further cooperation between the company and the university will significantly improve the quality of training for specialists in the pharmaceutical industry.
