As part of the IV International Forum "Commonwealth of Fashion", PROMOMED presented a unique pilot capsule collection of designer clothing created in collaboration with young designers and children of the Company's employees. The project has become an example of a trend towards the convergence of industrial companies and creative industries. It has gone beyond the traditional corporate branded products, becoming an up-to-date fashion statement based on the company's values and its historical heritage.
The source of inspiration was the works of Mordovian artists from the 1980s from a private collection, depicting scenes from the lives of employees of the Biochemist plant. Young designers, including the children of PROMOMED employees, have creatively reinterpreted these archival stories, creating a bridge between eras and connecting the industrial past with the technological future.
"For a successful brand, it is important to speak to your audience in the same language — the language of shared values and emotions. We know that it is possible and necessary to talk about serious things through creativity," says Sergey Avdeenko, Head of the department for work with government agencies at PROMOMED. — We invited the young people to analyze the branding and the history of the Company. Thanks to their fresh look and bold design approach, this collection was born. This is our way of conducting a dialogue between generations. The developed design reflects the accelerating evolution of technology, which always focuses on people who create and use scientific achievements for the health and well—being of society."
The key values of the Company — the continuity of generations, respect for work and the technological development of the country — have become the ideological basis for design. The young authors "deciphered" them and literally "sewed" them into prints and cuts of utilitarian wardrobe items: hoodies, hoodies, T-shirts and accessories. The result is a stylish street style capsule that will take its rightful place in the wardrobe of a modern person.
The pilot collection was presented on November 20 at the Commonwealth of Fashion forum, which was sponsored by the PROMOMED Group, and provoked a lively response from participants and guests of the event, who noted the high level of work.
The forum is organized by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Center, SOYUZLEGPROm, RSKO and RSPO.
