The 20th international exposition of equipment, raw materials and technologies for pharmaceutical production was held at the Crocus Expo in Moscow. PROMOMED took an active part in it, presenting at its stand an in-house hardware and software package for product serialization.
The invention of the company's IT Department aroused great interest among the visitors of the exhibition. The main difference between the project and similar systems on the market is the low cost of applying a single identification tool - from 1 to 2 kopecks per unit of product.
The system has already been tested in practice - the equipment is used at Saransk Biochemist JSC.
At the first stage of development, PROMOMED employees created software that allows them to process a large amount of information. During load testing, the system demonstrated high stability when processing over one billion global Trade Item serial numbers (SGTIN), which, by the way, is not the limit for this development. Later, during the creation of the technological project, a semi-automatic serialization line with a capacity of 70 to 90 packages per minute was constructed. Potential consumers of this hardware and software complex can be manufacturers and distributors of not only pharmaceutical products, but also other goods. The system includes both secondary and tertiary labeling of products.
