"Over the past few years, Russian pharmaceutical manufacturers have connected all their capacities to the most important task of providing Russians with the most necessary medicines," the report says.

The ministry said that amoxicillin-based antibiotics are produced in injections and tablets by several Russian manufacturers. For example, the Promomed group's production site, Biochemik– plans to produce more than 1.5 million vials of Amklava and over 80 million tablets of Amoxicillin in 2023. The situation with ibuprofen in the form of suppositories has also been stabilized. The Russian company Pharmasynthesis has produced and already shipped a six-month supply of ibuprofen for children.

Pharmasynthesis also shipped a six-month supply of the hormonal drug Ziflukort, which is used for chronic adrenal insufficiency. New dosage forms of hormonal drugs are being actively developed and introduced into production at the company's site in Tyumen.

As for cancer drugs, by the end of January, the Russian pharmaceutical company Ozon plans to introduce into civilian circulation more than 200 thousand packages of the drug for the treatment of breast cancer Tamoxifen in two dosages. The entire volume will be immediately shipped to distributors, the ministry stressed.

The Russian company Grotex (Solopharm brand) produces a complete analogue of Hexoral, Gelangin Flex, which is available in the form of an aerosol for topical use and is indicated for the treatment of diseases of the oral cavity and throat. In 2022, the company produced 2.5 million packages of the drug, with plans for 2023 for 4.5 million packages, the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted.
