With the support of Promomed Group of Companies and under the auspices of Tatyana Bardymova, chief freelance endocrinologist at the Ministry of Health of the Irkutsk Region and Irkutsk, an expert council was held to discuss topical issues of modern approaches to the treatment of obesity, diabetes and other diseases, as well as important issues of pharmacotherapy.

"We consider it socially responsible and important to cooperate with research institutes, and this practice should be continued. Such events are now becoming a particularly important format that allows bringing together not only doctors and representatives of research institutes, but also participants in the pharmaceutical industry, which in turn will accelerate innovation, expand dialogue, and create a unified information space," commented Kira Zaslavskaya, Director of New Products at Promomed Group.
Among the participants were senior specialists from five regions of Russia and leading representatives of scientific departments, who discussed issues that identified urgent needs for drugs requiring import substitution in the face of threats and shortages, and directions for finding innovations in the field of treatment of endocrine diseases.
