A leading innovative Biopharmaceutical Company PROMOMED announces the launch of Velgia® on the market Eco in disposable injectors. The key feature of the new product is the complete absence of preservatives in the composition.

The innovative drug Velgia® Ivf preserves the proven effectiveness of semaglutide in the treatment of overweight, complementing it with a fundamentally new level of safety and environmental friendliness achieved by eliminating preservatives.

The use of disposable injectors ensures maximum convenience for patients: the required amount of the drug is ready for use; it is this amount that is placed in the factory in a pre-filled syringe with accurate and precise dosing, designed for one injection. Subcutaneous injection of the drug is hygienic and uncomplicated: the patient does not touch the needle or even see it.

Velgia® production technology Eco has made it possible to completely eliminate the use of traditional preservatives such as phenol or benzyl alcohol. Inside the Velgia® injector Ivf contains only the active substance in a buffer solution that ensures proper absorption of the drug.

1.     Proven effectiveness. All the therapeutic benefits, purity and safety of semaglutide obtained by solid-phase synthesis have been preserved.
